Forest Schools
Here at Penpol, we offer all the children the opportunity to attend Forest School within our School grounds.
Each child attends Forest School one afternoon a week for a six week block. The children learn a wide range of skills from woodland management, using tools safely, building shelters to lighting and cooking on a fire.
These skills are built upon each session and the children continue to progress as they move through the school.

Core Values
Building self-esteem is at the core of the Forest School approach. At Penpol we focus on raising emotional awareness and confidence, encouraging independence and providing plenty of opportunities for active outdoor play and discovery.
Our aim is to give all children, whatever their age, ability or circumstance, a special and memorable deep level learning experience.
Forest School in our 360° Curriculum
