Music in the Marquee 2019 – The Movie!
This year we had our fifth Music in the Marquee concert here
The PFA (Penpol Friends Association) is a registered fundraising charity for Penpol School. We are a group of parents, carers and teachers who work voluntarily and tirelessly to raise extra funds for our school.
Over the years, the PFA has organised various events, which have contributed towards items like new play equipment for the infants, a trim trail on the school field, a 3D printer, stage lighting, microphones and costumes for our school plays, Year 6 leavers gifts, Santa’s gifts for the children, a cooker for cookery club, kit for our football team and many more things throughout the school.
These are some of the events we organise throughout the year:
– Easter Fayre
– Mini Marathon
– Bingo Night
– Music in the Marquee
– Film Nights
– Summer Fete
– Christmas Fete
– Fundraising Afternoon Teas and Cakes
The success of the PFA depends entirely on the support of parents and carers, families, staff and the community. Volunteers are always needed to help us at the events. We welcome new faces, new ideas and new friends. Our regular meetings are informal and a great way to meet new volunteers and a chance to get involved.
If you are interested, please contact the school and speak to Mrs Wendy Turner (Chair Person of the Penpol Friends Association).
Gift donations by you or your company are helpful all year round for our raffle prizes.
Upcoming events for the 2018/2019 academic year will be published here in due course.
Throughout the year we host lots of exciting events, some of which you can read about below.
