Welcome to our Remote Learning homepage. In line with government guidance, our school site is temporarily closed to the majority of pupils. However, our school community remains busier than ever.
We have been further developing our remote learning provision over the past year and are confident that, in working together, we will ensure that your child continues to thrive.
There is no need to replicate the school day at home and we do advise that you make plenty of time to relax, play and laugh together with your loved ones too. Children learn when they feel safe and happy.
We will be here to support you throughout and look forward to welcoming you back to school as soon as possible. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to get in touch if we can help in any way.
Children will be provided with two main challenges each day. These challenges will be uploaded by class teachers to Showbie (KS1 and KS2) or Tapestry (EYFS) by 9.30am. These are designed to be as independently accessible as possible to support those of you juggling multiple responsibilities at home. Supplementary activities and links will be provided, ensuring that children continue to access a broad and balanced curriculum.
Teachers will share videos with their class to model specific skills and strategies and regular Google Meet sessions will allow children to remain connected to their peers.
Teachers will continue to assess children’s learning, feeding back regularly and adjusting teaching accordingly.
The government have advised that primary aged children should be engaged with their learning for an average of three hours per day. This is a guide only and will depend very much upon the age and learning needs of your child.
If you require any support or additional resources at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch using the contact details below or on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mrs Pope will share an assembly on Tuesdays and Mr Chislett will share an assembly on Fridays. Please check back here on those days to watch.
Next Assembly: Mr Chislett on Friday 22nd January

We completely understand that this closure and subsequent Remote Learning is a massive change and involves using digital learning in ways that may feel unfamiliar. Both Mr Woolcock and Paul are on standby to offer help and support if required for all of the online aspects of our Remote Learning plan.
You can email them here or send a message to them on Showbie by joining the class code “7NHQM“. You can also request a password reminder for any service your child uses by completing the form at the bottom of this page.
