Year 3 Learn to Walk Like an Egyptian

On Thursday, Year 3 had the opportunity to dress up in their best ‘ancient Egyptian’ outfits as part of their topic this term.

All of the children got their own booklet for the day and were able to take part in lots of different, fun activities such as playing ancient Egyptian board games, building pyramids and writing in hieroglyphics.

Class 8 crafted their own magnificent mummies (with their faces!) and Class 7 made some wonderful Egyptian geometric art on the iPads.

At the end of the day, all of Year 3 joined together to learn a Just Dance to ‘Walk Like an Egyptian’.

There were lots of fantastic costumes and some excellent dance moves.

Well done Year 3!
