After a really smooth flight (and a lovely shoutout from the Cabin Crew over the tannoy when we landed) we have arrived safely in America. As a special treat when we landed, the pilot invited us into the cockpit to see how the plane worked and pose for a photo or two!
We’ve also checked into our Airbnb and are now getting a bit of dinner before going to bed and hopefully beating the jet lag!
This afternoon we were treated to a funny and informative tour of Boston, including many historical locations linked to the history of Boston, America and indeed the American Revolution.
We’ve heard from other teams who have been in International Finals that it’s quite common to bring a sweet treat from your country to share with all the other teams. We really hope this is true (who wouldn’t want to try 80 different sweets?!) so
Well, after a fun but busy week it’s time to get these Pumpkins back home. It’s an overnight flight (hopefully a chance for a nap!) and when we wake up we’ll be back in England. See you all soon!
