Overall Infant Star of the Week
Class 3 – Year 1 – Piran
The overall infant star of the week is Piran. He follows all the rules for learning and is excelling in all subjects. He knows all the 2d and 3d shapes and has made a good start at telling the time. He enjoys counting real money and is confident with all coins and notes. He is well above average in reading, regularly achieving 100% in the accelerated reading tests. He usually gets top marks in the spelling tests and is happy to help others with their writing. It is a pleasure having Piran in the class as he is always so positive and helpful.
Overall Junior Star of the Week
Class 7 – Year 3 – Jazmin
This weeks over all star of the week for the junior’s is from Class 7 and it is Jazmin. Jazmin is a delightful member of Class 7 who has the ability to achieve a high standard of work in all that she does. Jazmin readily takes part in class discussions and works hard to complete all given tasks including imaginative writing and most mathematical concepts. Jazmin’s hard work extends across the whole curriculum. Very well done.
Class Stars of the Week
Class 2 – Reception – Poppy
Class 2’s star of the week is Poppy. Poppy has been a superstar this week in everything she’s done. She sets a brilliant example to the other children and always has her hand up to answer questions. She is kind to other children and is always happy to help others. Well-done Poppy!
Class 4 – Year 1 – Tacita
Star of the week for Class 4 is Tacita. Tacita has worked very hard this week and done some amazing work. She has listened well and been extremely attentive during carpet time. Tactia has been helpful and is a delight to have in class. Well-done!
Class 6 – Year 2 – Lily
The star of the week in Class 6 is Lily. Lily is a very polite and caring young lady who always offers to take care of others and help around the classroom. This week Lily has been working very hard during the ‘Numeracy’ lessons, which resulted in her being given a ‘Mastery problem solving Challenge’. Lily has also been working hard during the ‘English lessons’ and through her determination and perseverance created a number of sentence that contained connectives, adjectives and verbs. Well done Lily and keep up the hard work!
Class 8 – Year 3 -Reuben
I am delighted to award Reuben with Star of the Week for Year 3. He always works very hard and shares his intelligent and creative ideas with his teachers and his friends. Reuben has a wonderful way of looking at life and the world around him. A few days ago, I heard him comment that he has never been bored in his life because life around him is too interesting. This sums up his attitude to school. Well-done Reuben
Class 10 –Year 4 – Zannah
Zannah is the silent ninja in Class 10 because she always gets on with her work without fussing. Over the past few weeks it has been a pleasure to see Zannah grow in confidence and watch her personality begin to shine. Zannah brightens up any day when she walks into the classroom with her big smile!
Class 12 – Year 5 – Poppy
I have been very impressed with Poppy’s attitude to learning of late. She is listening really carefully and working harder in class. She is getting much more involved in class discussions and wants to improve her work, taking on advice and support where needed. Poppy has produced some great diary writing and has fractions over the last two weeks. I can see her growing in confidence and really enjoying her learning. Well-done Poppy!
Class 14 – Year 6 – Lucas
Star of the week this week in Class 14 is Lucas for quietly going about his work and setting a great example to everyone in the process. As a result, Lucas has produced some fabulous writing around the class book ‘Clockwork’. Well done Lucas and congratulations.
